# Accounting Manager (CPA) – Full-Time (Remote, Philippines)

**Compensation:** $8.00 USD/hour (40 hours/week)

## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced **Certified Public Accountant (CPA)** based in the Philippines to join our growing accounting firm as a full-time **Accounting Manager**. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing a bookkeeping department consisting of **6 bookkeepers** servicing approximately **60 recurring bookkeeping clients**.

The ideal candidate is an experienced manager who is passionate about developing people, maintaining high-quality financial reporting, and improving operational efficiency.

## Responsibilities

* Manage and mentor a team of 6 remote bookkeepers
* Review bookkeeping work for accuracy and completeness
* Ensure monthly financial statements are delivered accurately and on time
* Monitor team productivity and workload distribution
* Train and onboard new bookkeeping staff
* Implement and improve bookkeeping processes and internal controls
* Resolve complex accounting issues and provide guidance to the team
* Conduct quality assurance reviews before client delivery
* Communicate with firm leadership regarding team performance and client needs
* Assist with workflow planning and capacity management

## Qualifications

* **Active Philippine CPA license required**
* Minimum **5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience**
* Minimum **2 years of experience managing or leading an accounting or bookkeeping team**
* Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
* Excellent understanding of accrual accounting and financial statements
* Experience working with U.S. bookkeeping clients is highly preferred
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
