The Role
We're looking for a creative visual designer with a strong command of AI image generation tools to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll take our existing product renders and photography and composite them into aspirational, on-brand lifestyle scenes — kitchens, outdoor entertaining spaces, modern homes — that make our appliances the hero of the shot.
This is a hands-on production role that sits at the intersection of design craft and emerging AI tooling. If you love experimenting with tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion and have a designer's eye for light, composition, and realism, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
•Use AI image generation and compositing platforms (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to create lifestyle imagery featuring THOR appliances
•Composite official THOR product renders and photography into AI-generated scenes with realistic lighting, perspective, and environmental context
•Develop a consistent visual language across kitchen, outdoor, and entertaining settings that aligns with the THOR brand
•Produce image assets for use across email campaigns, social media, website, paid advertising, and print collateral
•Collaborate with the marketing team to interpret creative briefs and translate campaign themes into compelling visuals
•Iterate quickly on concepts, presenting options and incorporating feedback efficiently
•Stay current on AI image generation developments and surface new tools or techniques that could benefit the team
•Maintain organized file libraries of final assets, source renders, and reusable scene components
What You Bring
•3+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio of lifestyle, product, or commercial imagery
•Demonstrated, hands-on experience with AI image generation platforms — not just familiarity, but actual production work
•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Firefly's Generative Fill for compositing real product photography into generated scenes
•A sharp eye for photorealism: lighting direction, shadow consistency, scale, material rendering, and perspective
•Ability to work from product renders and brand assets rather than starting from scratch
•Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and digital teams
•Self-directed work style with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Nice to Have
•Experience in the appliance, home goods, or premium consumer products space
•Background in architectural visualization, interior design photography, or food/lifestyle photography
•Familiarity with Midjourney's advanced prompting techniques, ControlNet, or similar compositing workflows
•Motion or video editing skills for social content
