Australian Accounting Virtual Assistant

Our agency is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Accounting Virtual Assistant to support an Australian accounting company.

We are specifically looking for someone with actual experience working with an Australian accounting firm or Australian accounting entity. This role is not suitable for candidates with only general bookkeeping experience or non-Australian accounting experience.

The ideal candidate should already have a solid understanding of Australian accounting workflows, particularly Individual Tax Returns, BAS Lodgments and workpapers, Xero, ATO-related processes, and general accounting support.

Requirements
Previous experience working directly with an Australian accounting firm or Australian accounting entity is required
Strong hands-on experience using Xero
Experience working with Tax Returns
Experience preparing BAS workpapers and BAS / IAS lodgements
Familiarity with ATO-related workflows, pre-fill reports, and Australian tax/accounting processes
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Reliable work-from-home setup with stable internet connection
Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
