Bookkeeper & Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper & Financial Analyst to take full ownership of our financial records and help shape our company’s financial insights. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial health—ensuring our books are perfectly reconciled, preparing accurate financial statements, and collaborating directly with the CEO to turn those numbers into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers in QuickBooks. Handle bank/credit card reconciliations, expense categorization, and ensure everything matches perfectly.
Financial Preparation: Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements).
- Financial Analysis: Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends, flag discrepancies, and uncover opportunities to maximize profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the CEO in preparing detailed financial projections, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Regularly present clean financial reports and actionable insights to the CEO and team to help guide the company's direction.

Must-Have Requirements
- Schedule: Must be able to work US Pacific workday hours (between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST / 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM PHT).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Financial Management, or a closely related business field.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets/MS Excel is non-negotiable.
- Experience: Proven track record in full-charge bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.

Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of US compliance and tax audit standards.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Prior experience working directly with executive leadership/CEOs.
