5 Lessons I Learned as an Online Freelancer in 2014

2014 is so far, one of the best year in my freelancing career as it opened so many doors of opportunities for me in business, career and advocacy. But of course, all those will not be possible, without the help, trust and support of others. Most of all, I would like to thank you for constantly reading each and every blog post that I release for the past year. Expect that I will be blogging and sharing more useful tips, advices and resources this coming 2015.

Online Freelancers: Surprise Your Loved Ones Through This Service

If you've been doing online freelance work for quite sometime, you'll notice that you spend more time in front of your computer than anywhere else. Who can blame us when the more we work, the higher we earn. Recently, I got this predicament when I wanted to surprise my wife with a bouquet of flowers. But pulling it off was a bit hard since she surely notices it when I decide to go out and buy something for her, as she is used to have me at home and working. In addition, I thought that it won't be considered a surprise anymore if she sees me going out. That can give her a clue that I am up to something. So the internet-savvy person in me decided to check online and was surprised to find a service that helped me carry out my plan. I had the flowers delivered through the service of Island Rose (

Starting the Year with a Bottle of Gratitude

Hi Everyone! How is your New Year going so far? I hope you are getting blessed and opportunities are coming your way. This year, I plan on doing something different. I plan to be more aware on the many blessings and opportunities that come my way. Last year, what I have is a ‘Gratitude Journal’, but it didn’t really work that well for me. It seems like a burden or a task to really try to write something in there. Just imagine you have to fill up a page! I felt that if I didn’t write enough for that day, I didn’t receive enough blessings. So I dumped the idea and looked for a new way of tagging things.

Winning A Blogging Award – Inspired To Help More Pinoys To Start Doing Online Jobs

Hi Everyone! I just like to share with you the wonderful things that our dear humble blog has received a couple of days ago. We were nominated and recognized as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2013 during the Digital Influencers Marketing Summit held in SMX, MOA.

This came as a surprise to the people behind this blog, especially to me since we’re not really expecting to win any awards. Our goal is to simply share everything we know about online jobs to Filipinos who would like to know more about how to get started in this industry. God has been indeed great :) We hope that you are being blessed by this blog as well.

My Journey as a Digital Influencer

It has been months since I started coming out of my comfort zone and started sharing my experience as an 'online professional'. It has been my desire to help other individuals who want to venture out into the cyber workspace and become an Online Filipino Professional. However, my main problem back then was how to spread my message and further my reach to many people as possible. Then I remember an advice from a dear friend. That is to "learn from people who have been there and done it!". Simply put, "FIND A MENTOR (Coach or Guide)". And fortunately, I was lucky enough to get the best mentor that I can have in the person of Ms. Janette Toral. I consider her as one of the top experts and specialists in the field of E-commerce and Online Marketing.

Flown Into The World of Art Through An Exhibit Called “Grounded” At The Lopez Museum

Yesterday, I was privileged to be invited to join a museum tour of the Lopez Museum in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. This is the first time that I’ll be entering an Arts Museum. As I’m not a fan of art, I brought no expectations with me at all, but just to take pictures. Not that I don’t like art pieces, I guess I just consider them as paintings and mere drawings to beautify a wall or a space. Little did I know that this 2-hour activity will open my mind into the wonderful world of arts and have a peek into the minds of those creative people who crafted them. Good thing, I heed my friend’s advice to bring a camera with me for I will get heaps of wonderful shots. Allow me to walk you through the Art Exhibit through my own words and through the pictures that I took.

My Digital Tagaytay Experience

Tagaytay has been a place known to many of us, Filipinos, as a tourist spot, a place to relax, unwind and forget about work. But recently, I had a different experience about this place and I call it a "Digital Tagaytay" experience.
