Dental Insurance Verification Specialist

We are a friendly, family-owned dental practice looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote team.

This position is ideal for someone with previous dental office experience who is comfortable working independently and has a strong understanding of dental insurance verification.

Responsibilities:
- Verify patients' dental insurance benefits before appointments
- Review insurance eligibility, frequencies, limitations, and remaining benefits
- Accurately enter insurance information into Open Dental
- Communicate any benefit limitations or coverage concerns to our team
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Assist with other insurance-related administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a U.S. dental office is required
- Open Dental experience is REQUIRED (applications without Open Dental experience will not be considered)
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PPO dental insurance plans
Familiarity with insurance breakdowns and benefit verification
Excellent organizational and communication skills
