About us
Amansala is a beachfront eco-chic wellness resort in Tulum, Mexico, home to Bikini Bootcamp and Restore & Renew. We host individual guests, group retreats, and corporate wellness experiences, with our primary markets in the US and Canada.
The role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Analyst who owns the booking pipeline, actively generates new revenue, and thinks for themselves. This is not order-taking. You'll analyze leads and performance, make decisions, chase opportunities others miss, and use AI tools to work faster and smarter. We need someone who takes ownership and moves things forward — not someone who forwards every question back to us.
What you'll do
Close inbound
Own inbound sales for rooms, retreats, and group bookings — respond fast, follow up relentlessly, and close
Convert inquiries from our website, Instagram, WhatsApp, and ad campaigns into confirmed bookings
Generate new revenue (outbound)
Proactively reach out to past guests to win them back and drive repeat stays
Reactivate cold and dormant leads sitting in the CRM
Follow up on abandoned bookings and inquiries that went quiet
Identify and pursue group, corporate, and retreat-leader opportunities (yoga teachers, wellness organizers, companies planning offsites)
Upsell and cross-sell — room upgrades, longer stays, spa, add-on experiences, Bikini Bootcamp packages
Spot referral and partnership opportunities and act on them
Analyze & optimize
Analyze pipeline data, conversion rates, and lead sources to find what's working and what isn't
Report on pipeline health and revenue against targets, with your own read on the numbers
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to research prospects, draft outreach, speed up follow-up, and sharpen proposals
Manage the pipeline
Manage the full sales pipeline in our CRM: log every lead, track stages, automate follow-ups, keep data clean
Build and manage group and retreat proposals, including custom quotes and contracts
Coordinate remotely with our operations and revenue team on availability, rates, and peak-season inventory
What we're looking for
Direct prior experience in a sales role — this is non-negotiable. You can point to specific results and real closing numbers.
Ability to analyze a situation and make a decision — you assess each lead, decide the right next move, and act within your authority rather than escalating everything
When you do need input, you tee it up properly — you bring us the situation, your analysis, and a clear recommendation, not just an open question
Proficient with AI tools — you already use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to work faster, and can show how
A self-starter who finds revenue opportunities instead of waiting for them
Hospitality experience — hotel, resort, travel, or wellness sales background
Hands-on proficiency with a CRM; you build workflows, not just log calls
Fluent, professional English (written and spoken) — you'll communicate directly with US and Canadian guests
Reliable home internet, quiet remote setup, and willingness to work hours that overlap US/Canada time zones
Nice to have
Experience with outbound sales, win-back campaigns, or lead reactivation
Experience selling retreats, group bookings, or destination/wellness travel
Familiarity with tools like SevenRooms, ManyChat, or Meta lead workflows
Spanish a plus (not required)
