Local SEO / GEO Growth Specialist - Australia Cosmetic Surgery Platform

About Us:
We're one of the largest cosmetic surgery platforms in Australia, operating across multiple locations. As we continue to scale, we're creating a new dedicated Local SEO / GEO Growth Specialist role to accelerate our organic presence. Potential for a full time role.

What You'll Do:
- Execute comprehensive local SEO / GEO strategy for competitive cosmetic surgery keywords and queries across Australian cities we operate in
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profile
- Build and maintain local citations across Australian medical directories, forums, reddit, etc.
- Create and optimize content for procedure pages, location pages, and blog content
- Conduct keyword research specific to business
- Technical SEO audits and fixes (working with our team)
- Build high-quality backlinks from relevant Australian health and medical sources
- Monitor and report on rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics
- Stay current on Google algorithm updates and AI/LLM search trends

Requirements:
- 3+ years proven SEO experience with local SEO focus and GEO understanding
- Experience in healthcare/medical SEO highly preferred (understanding of medical advertising regulations/AHPRA guidelines a plus)
- Strong understanding of Australian search market and geography
- Must have experience working with LLMs coding agents (Claude Code Opus 4.6 is our preferred) and leverage with all your work.
- Knowledge of how AI/LLM systems are changing search and discovery
- Demonstrated results improving local rankings and organic traffic
- Experience with Google Business Profile optimization and local citation building
- Technical SEO knowledge (site speed, mobile optimization, schema markup)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Atlas or similar)

- Understanding of medical practice marketing and patient journey
- Content creation skills for medical/educational content
