We're a growing U.S. commercial insurance agency looking for an exceptional Virtual Assistant to join our team!
This is a long-term position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator. While insurance experience is a huge advantage, we're willing to train the right person.
?? Important Requirement
This position involves frequent phone calls with U.S.-based insurance companies, underwriters, and customers.
Excellent spoken English is REQUIRED.
If you're not comfortable making and receiving phone calls or communicating confidently in English over the phone, this position is not the right fit.
What You'll Be Doing and Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Reviewing commercial insurance applications and submissions
Preparing insurance quotes and renewal proposals
Shopping accounts with multiple insurance carriers
Comparing coverages, premiums, and policy options
Calling insurance companies, underwriters, and clients as needed
Following up on pending quotes, renewals, and underwriting requests via phone and
Preparing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and ACORD forms
Requesting loss runs and underwriting documents
Processing policy endorsements and policy changes
Reviewing insurance policies for accuracy and completeness
Drafting professional
Updating our CRM and maintaining organized client files
Assisting with renewals, account servicing, and other administrative tasks
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Speaks English fluently with a clear and professional phone presence
Is comfortable making outbound and inbound phone calls throughout the workday
Has excellent written English
Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Can multitask and manage deadlines
Works independently with minimal supervision
Learns quickly and enjoys solving problems
Is reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of their work
Is proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based applications
