JOB OVERVIEW

**This employment starts as Gig and grows into Part-Time OR potentially full-time with added responsibilities**

I'm looking for a detail-oriented researcher to help me build a proprietary database of U.S. nonprofits that are approaching a "strategic planning" cycle.

This starts as a one-time paid project at $4–$6 per hour.
If the work is high-quality, it will transition into ongoing part-time work (15–25 hours per week at $7–$9/hr).

—————————————

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Your job is to find nonprofits that have a publicly posted strategic plan ending in 2026 or 2027. You are not researching random nonprofits. You are searching for a specific, verifiable signal.

For each organization you find, you'll capture:

1) Organization name
2) Website URL
3) Strategic plan URL
4) Plan Start date
5) Plan End dates
6) Executive Director's full name
7) Executive Director's verified email
---
8) Optional: Revenue from ---------- OR ----------
9) Optional: Additional relevant notes

You'll log everything in a structured spreadsheet I provide.

—————————————

SEARCH APPROACH:

You'll use targeted Google searches like:
— "strategic plan" "2022–2026" nonprofit California
— "strategic plan" "2023–2027" site:.org
— "strategic framework" "2021–2026" nonprofit
— "through 2026" strategic plan nonprofit

I'll give you 30+ pre-built search queries, reusable search components, and examples of what a qualified result looks like versus an unqualified one. You'll also receive a short training video walking through the exact process.

—————————————

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

• Accuracy over speed — every lead is verified before it goes into the spreadsheet
• 5–6 Qualified Planning Accounts per hour after the first week
• Clean, complete data with no missing fields
• Clear notes that help me personalize outreach

WHO THIS IS FOR:

• You're comfortable with Google search, spreadsheets, and basic research tools
• You have strong attention to detail — you double-check your work
• You can follow a structured process independently
• You're comfortable using tools like Hunter.io (or willing to learn quickly)
• Nonprofit experience is a bonus but not required
• Strong written English is essential

—————————————

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This starts as a paid test project. If the quality is high, it becomes ongoing part-time work at 15–25 hours per week, with the potential to grow. I want someone who wants to grow with this role over time because there is opportunity to take on more work in a part-time or full-time capacity.

—————————————

QUICK TEST ASSIGNMENT:

Along with your application, please complete this short test.

Using Google, find 5 U.S. nonprofits that have a publicly posted strategic plan ending in 2026 or 2027. For each one, provide:

1) Nonprofit Organization name
2) Website (always ends in ".org")
3) Strategic plan URL
4) Plan end date (example: 2022-2026 or just 2026)
5) Executive Director's full name

3 STEPS:
1) Put these in the spreadsheet: ----------

2) Email to: ----------

3) Put “Nonprofit Research Test Completed” in your message subject line.

The goal is to see your research approach and attention to detail — not speed. Take your time and be accurate.

I'll review all applications and invite top candidates to a short video call. I'm looking to hire quickly for the right person.
