JOB OVERVIEW

Building Bosses is a UK-based property network that teaches entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners how to invest in property. We are looking for a long-term, trusted, and diligent remote social media & operations manager to join our growing team. This is a starting role with explicit scope to grow. This role has a clear pathway to scale into a full-time operations and community manager with increased compensation and responsibilities.

At Building Bosses, people are at the heart of what we do. We aim to build strong professional relationships and help each other to show up as our best selves every day while maintaining our top-performance ethos.
In this role, you will be at the core of our operations by managing our multi-platform social media presence and executing administrative tasks. Please note this position focuses on professional copywriting, admin, social media optimisation, and backend operations (video editing is not required however 2+ years experience in Social Media Management is mandatory).

Requirements

Fluent Written and Spoken English: Excellent grammar, spelling, and vocabulary, with the ability to write in a professional voice.
Independent Troubleshooting: Because we work in different time zones, real-time help is limited. You must be able to learn new software updates, and troubleshoot technical solutions independently before escalating to management for assistance.
Background: You must have 2+ years of remote assistant or social media management experience with UK-based clients. References will be required. Please ensure your university degree is listed on your resume. Advanced experience in google suite, notion, skool, instagram, tiktok and youtube is required.
Communication Standards: Communication is critical in this role. Because we operate across different time zones, you must maintain the following mandatory standards:
WhatsApp will be utilized as our primary tool for daily operational communication.
Acknowledge and respond to all messages and emails within 0-to-12-hours.
Be available to receive and join phone calls to handle urgent tasks.
A comprehensive report detailing tasks completed, tasks in progress, and any blockers must be submitted every week on a set day.

Core Weekly Tasks

1. Social Media Management - Planning, Publishing & Optimisation

Platforms: Posting to TikTok, Instagram Reels, Threads, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Copywriting: Draft clear, relevant, and value-driven captions that align with the brand's established voice and tone. The text should be easy to understand and organised using line breaks.
All written copy must be human-authored; we utilize AI detection tools as part of our regular quality control. The submission of AI-generated work constitutes a breach of contract and may result in immediate termination.
Hashtags: Include 2-4 relevant hashtags at the end of the caption after 2 line breaks so they stay hidden behind the "See More" button. Avoid hashtags that could lead to account restriction. Also put hashtags and SEO keywords hidden off-screen for the algorithm.
Platform Tweaks: Manually pair TikTok/IG uploads with specific trending UK audio. Write catchy titles under 60 characters. Turn the video concept into a text post for LinkedIn.
Past Analysis & Calendar planning: Review our history of top-performing content to see which hooks, structures, and topics got the best results.
Hook Writing: For every video topic provided, write a few high-converting hook options to grab attention in the first 2 seconds, based on successful UK top performing accounts.
Trend Tracking: Spend 1 hour a week researching rising audio trends and competitor styles within the UK property and influencer space.
Ad-Hoc Operational Support: Assist with administrative logistics, basic script writing support, and event planning coordination as needed.

2. Skool Operations & Admin - Platform Building & Upkeep

Text Formatting: Move and re-format raw text from documents, google sheets and PDFs into Skool. Follow our formatting and spacing rules, use bold paragraph titles and always paste our mandatory copyright header at the top of every page.
Resource Embedding: Embed tools and documents into Skool using html codes. The tools must be made non-downloadable so experience in creating non-downloadable files is mandatory.
Community Vetting: Check incoming member requests for our group daily. Only approve people who fully answer the entry questions. Flag spam accounts or incomplete profiles to management immediately.

How to Apply
