JOB OVERVIEW

Rate: $5/hour · ~20 hours/week to start, with room to grow

Schedule: Flexible, ~20 hours/week to start, growing for the right person. Some overlap with US [time zone] hours for check-ins.

Type: Ongoing, long-term. We want someone to grow with us, not a one-off gig.

About the work:

We run content and SEO for CyberPR, a New York-based PR and visibility company for independent musicians. You'd be the person who keeps our WordPress site clean and current: publishing blog posts, updating older content, and managing redirects so nothing breaks. You'd work from clear instructions in Google Sheets, and we'll train you on anything you don't already know.
We care more about someone reliable, detail-oriented, and teachable than someone who already knows every tool. If you follow instructions carefully, ask good questions, and double-check your own work, you'll do well here.

This role has real upside. The right person won't stay at 20 hours for long. As you prove yourself, we'll add hours and bring you into our AI-assisted content work, using AI tools to help draft, research, and produce content faster. If you're curious about AI and want to build that skill, this is a place to do it.

What you'll do:

- Publish blog posts in WordPress from drafts we provide (formatting, images, internal links, categories)
- Update and refresh existing pages and posts based on a checklist
- Set up and manage redirects when URLs change (we'll show you our process)
- Fill in SEO fields like page titles and meta descriptions using our SEO plugin (we'll train you on it)
- Work from Google Sheets that tell you exactly what to publish, update, or redirect
- Keep the tracking sheet updated so we always know what's done
- Occasionally pull simple data from Google Analytics and Search Console (nice to have, not required)

You're a good fit if you have:

- Solid hands-on WordPress experience (publishing and editing, not just browsing)
- Strong attention to detail. Small errors in links and formatting matter to us.
- Comfort working in Google Sheets and following written instructions
- Good written English and steady communication (you tell us when something's unclear or blocked)
- Reliable internet and a quiet setup for occasional calls
- Willingness to learn our SEO plugin and redirect process

Nice to have (not required):

- Basic SEO understanding (titles, meta descriptions, headings)
- Experience with any SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO, etc.)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 or Search Console

How to apply:

- Start your message with the word "Blueberry" so we know you read this far.
- Tell us in 3–4 sentences about the most complex WordPress site you've worked on and what you did on it.
- Answer this: A blog post's URL needs to change from /old-title to /new-title. In one or two sentences, what would you do so visitors and Google still land in the right place? (It's fine if you're not sure of the exact steps. We want to see how you think.)

Applications that skip any of these three steps won't be reviewed. We read every complete one. Thanks for your interest!
