Property Accountant

Hi! I’m hiring for a Property Accountant.

This is full-time role and I’m looking for someone with solid multifamily property accounting and bookkeeping experience.

Rate: $13+/hour
Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM EST
Hours: 40 hours/week

I’m looking for someone who has:

3+ years of multifamily property accounting experience
Month-end close experience
Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, workpapers, and financial statements
Good understanding of US GAAP and accrual accounting
Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, PeopleSoft, or similar tools
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Good attention to detail
Good communication skills

Really need someone honest, reliable, analytical, and willing to take ownership. You should be okay with following up on missing invoices/docs, checking discrepancies, asking questions when something is unclear, and making sure the financials are accurate.

CPA and AppFolio experience are a plus!
