News Editor – Business, Finance & Lifestyle Websites
Medical Editor – Medical, Health & Science Websites
Music Editor – Music & Entertainment Websites

Key Responsibilities
* Edit, proofread, and fact-check articles prior to publication.
* Ensure content meets editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style.
* Review headlines, formatting, links, and overall article quality.
* Verify sources and ensure factual accuracy.
* Collaborate with writers to provide constructive feedback and improve content quality.
* Apply SEO best practices while maintaining editorial integrity.
* Meet daily publishing deadlines in a fast-paced digital newsroom.
* Help maintain a consistent editorial voice across assigned publications.

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of professional editing experience, preferably in digital publishing or online news.
* Excellent command of the English language with exceptional editing and proofreading skills.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent fact-checking abilities.
*Experience editing SEO-optimized content.
* Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflow while maintaining editorial quality.
* Experience with WordPress or other content management systems is an advantage.
* Able to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
* Available to work Monday through Friday during U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours.
