SEO Specialist Wanted - Rank Local Service Business #1 on Google

Remote | Long-Term Role | $5–$10/hr | Flexible Hours

We’re hiring a high-level SEO expert with a proven track record of ranking local service businesses on Google — especially in the U.S. market. If you’ve helped contractors, roofers, or home service pros dominate their local SERPs, this role is for you.

This is not for beginners or people who just know how to install RankMath and write meta tags. We’re looking for a strategist and executor who knows how to outrank real competition.

???? The Goal:

Help us rank a local roofing company at the top of Google in key cities across the Phoenix, Arizona metro.

We’re building landing pages, targeting high-buying-intent keywords, and we already have powerful tools in place. We need a seasoned SEO who can step in, take ownership, and deliver.

? Responsibilities:

Strategy & Audit

Perform a complete SEO audit of our site (WordPress + Elementor)

Analyze competitors and build a ranking plan

Identify quick wins and long-term targets

On-Page SEO

Fix and improve meta titles, H1s, internal linking, schema, image tags

Improve site speed and mobile performance

Optimize city-specific landing pages and service content

Off-Page SEO

Manage citation building and backlink outreach

Help develop high-authority backlinks from relevant sources

GBP optimization (Q&A, posting, review schema)

Tracking & Reporting

Weekly progress reports (keyword positions, traffic, backlinks)

Clear deliverables and KPIs to track effectiveness

3+ years of SEO experience, ideally with U.S.-based businesses

Solid portfolio of sites you’ve ranked (bonus if in roofing or home services)

Comfortable working independently and owning the SEO plan

Strong English skills for content review and reporting

Familiarity with Google’s local map pack ranking signals

$5–$10/hr depending on experience

20 hrs/week to start, with potential for full-time for the right candidate

Weekly pay via Wise
