Shopify Website Photo Editing and New Listing Descriptions

Shopify Website but we use Uploadify for inventory management & Photo Editing VA — Fine Jewelry (Part-Time)

We're a high end boutique looking for a detail-oriented virtual assistant to help edit product photos and create new listings on using Uploadify. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady, recurring part-time work and enjoys precision, detail-focused tasks.
What you'll do
Edit product photos in PhotoRoom using our saved brand template (background, shadow, export settings all pre-set — you'll follow our SOP)
Rename and organize files per our naming convention
Upload new products to Uploadify(titles, images, pricing, variants, collections, then edit Meta Description in Shopify along with appropriate vendor)
Use a provided prompt template with Claude (AI) to help generate product descriptions, then lightly format/paste them in
Flag anything uncertain (stone color, image quality, missing info) for owner review before publishing — nothing goes live without approval
What we're looking for
Experience with Shopify product uploads (required)
Experience with PhotoRoom, Canva, or similar photo editing tools (required) — Photoshop experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail — this matters a lot with jewelry, where stone color accuracy and image quality are easy to get wrong
Comfortable following a written SOP closely rather than improvising
Good written English for light copy editing
Reliable, responsive communication
Hours & pay
Part-time to start, flexible hours — expect roughly [5-8 hours/week — fill in based on your current backlog]
Rate: $3-4/hour, depending on experience
Long-term opportunity for the right fit — we're growing and this role could expand over time
