on8 is a new US app where athletes (dancers, college athletes, creators) film raw clips of their content ideas on their phone. Our editors turn those raw clips into polished, scroll-stopping vertical videos (Reels/TikTok style) — and we're recruiting our founding editor team right now.

What the work looks like

You claim projects from our editor dashboard (web app — we'll onboard you)
Each project: raw phone clips + an auto-generated brief (hook, shot list, style notes)
You edit a 15–60 second vertical video: clean cuts, captions/subtitles, music sync, hook text overlay
Deliver by the daily deadline. Most videos take 20–40 minutes to edit.
Pay

Per project, $2–$8 USD per video depending on complexity — you see the exact payout before you claim, no surprises
Typical video pays $4–5 (an effective rate of about $6.50 USD/hour)
Bonus pay for rescuing unclaimed projects from the pool
Paid via Wise
This is volume work: as we grow, active editors can stack multiple videos per day. Founding editors get first pick of clients as the roster grows.

Have real short-form editing experience (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) — CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Can do clean captions and cut to the beat
Understand hooks and what makes short-form content retain viewers
Have reliable internet that can handle downloading raw video files
Are dependable — when you claim a project, you hit the deadline
