Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor (Part-Time / Remote)

Hi! I’m a hairdresser based in Perth, Australia, specialising in luxury lived-in blondes, brondes and effortless, low-maintenance colour.

I’m looking for a creative, passionate Content Creator & Video Editor to become part of my brand and help bring my vision to life.

This isn’t just a video editing job. I’m looking for someone who understands storytelling, aesthetics and social media, and wants to help build a recognisable luxury hair brand that will eventually grow into my own salon.

About the Role

You’ll take the salon footage and photos I send you and transform them into engaging, high-quality content for Instagram and TikTok that feels modern, luxurious and authentic.

I’m looking for someone who enjoys coming up with creative ideas, understands what performs well on social media, and can help me build a strong online presence over time.

Responsibilities

* Edit Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
* Create aesthetic, engaging content that fits my brand.
* Suggest content ideas, trends and creative concepts.
* Write engaging captions and hooks when needed.
* Repurpose content across Instagram and TikTok.
* Help maintain a consistent luxury brand aesthetic.
* Assist with planning content that grows my audience and builds trust.

Skills & Experience

* Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar).
* Excellent understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
* Creative eye for storytelling, pacing and visual aesthetics.
* Experience working with beauty, hair or lifestyle brands is a bonus.
* Good written English and communication skills.
* Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.

Hours & Pay

* Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start.
* Long-term opportunity with the potential for more hours as the brand grows.
