YouTube Producer (Video Editor + Channel Manager)

I own a growing financial education YouTube channel focused on helping successful business owners make smarter financial decisions.

It is a talking head channel with the goal of being like this: ----------

My job is to create great content.

Your job is to make sure every video looks professional and gets published.

I am not looking for a freelancer that I have to manage every day.

I am looking for a long-term teammate who wants to own the entire YouTube production process. I don't care if you personally touch every singly piece of the process (outsource as you desire) but I want you to OWN the whole process so I do not have to think about it.

## What You'll Do ##

For every long-form video, you will:

* Edit the video into a polished YouTube episode (or outsource at your own expense)
* Improve audio quality.
* Add B-roll, graphics, zooms, captions, and simple animations when appropriate.
* Design a clean, professional thumbnail (or outsource at your own expense)
* Write three title options.
* Draft the YouTube description using AI.
* Add chapters and timestamps.
* Create two YouTube Shorts.
* Upload everything to YouTube as a draft.
* Organize all project files in Dropbox.
* Help improve our workflow over time.

Typical workload:

* Up to 12 long-form YouTube videos per month.
* 24 Shorts per month.
* Thumbnail for every video.
* Upload and publish management.

## What Success Looks Like

I want to be able to record a video, upload it once, and never think about it again until I receive a YouTube draft that's ready for review.

If you enjoy taking ownership and making things better without being asked, you'll thrive in this role.

## Hiring Process

The hiring process is straightforward:

* Short application review.
* Paid editing test.
* Final interview.
* Job offer.

The paid editing test will include one raw video. You'll edit it, create a thumbnail, write titles and descriptions, add chapters, and produce two Shorts. We will pay every finalist for their time. I will pay you $100 for this.

## One Last Thing

I care far more about reliability, communication, ownership, and attention to detail than fancy editing effects.
